Monthly Meeting Information

Meeting Packet Contents:

  • Streetlight Replacement: TECO Proposal
  • Gatehouse Refurbishment Project

Gatehouse Refurbishment Project: The multi-year effort to refurbish the district's gatehouses is underway. The Ramblewood gatehouse will remain closed, directing non-barcoded traffic to the Dale Mabry or Lutz Lake Fern gates.

Reserve Funds and Budget: In 2023, the Board completed a reserve study, and the FY2024 Budget includes dedicated funds for reserve monies with a reprogramming of unassigned cash. Inframark has prepared a resolution for this transition, available in the meeting packet.

Landscaping and Engineering Updates: OLM conducts monthly landscaping inspections, and BD! Engineering has been hired for district engineering services.

Florida Highway Patrol Engagement: The district continues to engage the Florida Highway Patrol to assist with traffic calming and enforcement within Cheval West.


2024 and Beyond

Suncoast Parkway Widening Project: The Florida Turnpike Enterprise has begun preliminary design and engineering studies for the widening of the Suncoast Parkway. The project could significantly impact our community as the parkway runs through Cheval.

CWCA Rules and Regulations: The CWCA Board is creating a document to encapsulate the various existing standards contained in the HOA's documents.

Reminders:

  • Gatehouse phone and camera systems are upgraded.
  • Manage guest and vendor lists through the dwellingLIVE portal.
  • The TPC Golf Course is private property; unauthorized entry is prohibited.
