Access-Control Software Change for Cheval to MyWatchtower

Cheval is excited to announce the transition from DwellingLive to MyWatchtower on Saturday, June 7

MyWatchtower by JEKA is a modern, cloud-based, access-control and visitor-management platform built specifically for gated communities. It unifies guest/vendor registration, household management, and barcodes. It is designed to better serve the community, residents, guard staff, managers, and boards.

Residents can manage their guest lists from any device including a web browser, iOS device, or Android device. The system sends automated notifications through push notifications and email.  The system also contains audit logs and strong data encryption to assist staff and the board as needed.

Next steps for residents to access MyWatchtower:

• Use any of the following methods to access MyWatchtower:
  • Web app through any browser: https://mywatchtower.app

  • For Android Users (Google Play Store): https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=app.mywatchtower&hl=en
• Login to MyWatchtower:
  • Username: Use the same email address used for DwellingLive
  • Temporary password: Users will receive an email containing a link to reset their password.  This email will be sent to the same email registered in DwellingLive. The email will be from ‘noreply@mywatchtower.app’. Please check your spam folder if you don’t see it.  Please follow the instructions to set your desired password.
  • NOTE: Please wait to receive the temporary password link before accessing the system otherwise you might have to reset your password again. The temporary password emails go out in small batches, so all Cheval users will receive them by 10PM on June 6th.
• Important Notes:
  • For Residents that did not previously register with DwellingLive, please access the application from any of the above methods and create a new account.  This process will require you to request access to the Cheval community. These requests will be verified by the gate staff prior to approval. Use this link to create a new account for Cheval.
  • All existing vehicle barcodes and household information including occupants, guests, and vendor information have been migrated into My Watchtower.  This migration will help minimize the disruption during this transition.  Residents are requested to review this information for accuracy and correct it as desired from within the new application.

• Please discontinue use of DwellingLive to register guests. Begin using the MyWatchtower application.
